Today was history Thursday! We learned all about Elizabethan London including the Globe Theater, the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. The children drew maps of London during the time and we read an interesting article written by William Shakespeare about how it would actually have been to walk the streets of London during that time. They loved the part about the slippery cobblestones due to chamber pots dumped out of the windows! :)
Ian had his first fencing class yesterday and loved it!
Ella has been working hard on Spanish, and Ian is doing great on his German. Brooke will begin French tomorrow!
