We are all so excited to begin a new school year! We are learning the names of geometric shapes and solids, working on Grammar and Math, Botany, American History and much more! Ella is excited to start up a new soccer season, and Ian is thrilled to be playing fall baseball. Brooke the song bird will be joining a choir. Fencing and Chess Club on Wednesday and Art on Saturday should keep us all busy and furthering our special skills. I just know we will all work together to have a fabulous school year! To kick off the new school year, we toured the Mayborn Museum last week. There's nothing better than to start off the first day of school with a fun, educational field trip!!!!
We started Botany today, learning about seeds and Plant Anatomy. We will be headed out for a nature walk tomorrow to see how many different seeds we can collect. When we get home, we will walk around in our socks to see if we can find some seeds in the yard too!
